UGH, is it ever going to get better. WHY, why can't they just LISTEN. Gus wanted to
take 2 books out of the school library. He wasn't allowed, since this school library is VERY
tiny. He cried. THEN the teacher had the NERVE to tell him NOT TO CRY. Really, how
important are books to her? SO, I took Gus to city library. It was his day to go get
new books anyway~~~but he didn't need the DRAMA from the teacher. SO DARN SICK
of this all and school just started!

While he was at school I went and choose the books for 10-15 September. He seemed to like every one of them. NOT going to take that chance again, we will go after school today to the library since he's out of books to read. He will only read a book once, unless it's something he really loves.

WE had some down time, Mommy didn't get him to the library on Saturday 31st
August so I just had to renew his books online. He's having Asthma-Allergies and
that keeps us busy with the Autism as well.
BUT back in the saddle again! AND reading.

Since we moved to this area - praying for better Autism support in the district, I HAVEN'T
gotten a library card. SHAME ON ME. SO, now we both have a card. Daddy will have to
get one or use Mommy's. So I decided to keep a log for him so he can see his accomplishments
and be rewarded for them as well. HAPPY READING with your child *(ren). AGAIN, my son
is High-Functioning Autism (well, he's high-functioning MOST of the time. I DO NOT consider
MELTDOWNS on ANY LEVEL to be high-functioning). THIS is my own personal opinion.
HIS meltdowns are such, that it takes hours for him to calm down with the help of medications.
