Abolish the Federal Board of Education

UGH and UGH again.

Found out today that this school district places children 
into grades BY AGE, not ability.

And that includes Autism. SO, little guy will be in the 
3rd Grade. Terrifies me that he's NOT AT THAT LEVEL. This 
district "policy" wants to make sure they get all the  
funding they can, so they won't even make exceptions for 
special education.

Guess they have a law that covers if you place students 

by age and not ability you get more money!!! This district
doesn't NEED money. They HAVE NO VOLUNTEERS  they have 

all paid staff. This is the FIRST district I have lived 

in that doesn't BEG for volunteers at every school!

The STATE OF UTAH GOVERNMENT NOR THE STATE OF UTAH

BOARD  OF EDUCATION has raised the standards of 

education in Utah. Placing a child by AGE and NOT 

ability is a CRIME. OH they will be butting heads 

when I get done with them.

Now I'm wanting to know exactly WHAT the Federal 

Board of Education is needed for ---- or the Utah 

Board of Education for that matter???? Every time 

I have called them about ANY issue they refer me 

right back to the district office. REALLY? 

WHAT do you do up there? You are allgetting paid 

large wages, getting off Federal and state holidays

and all the other benefits that go with your job.

Why do we really need the Utah Board of  Education? 

STILL waiting for that answer!!!!

I agree with Ran Paul. The Federal Board of  Education 

NEEDS to be abolished. I was happy with the NO CHILD 

LEFT BEHIND. Now that obama has given waivers to most

states (Flexibility Waiver) we DO NOT need the Federal 

Board of Education. THEY are worthless and using money 

that can be placed elsewhere...like toward making our 

boarders secure.

Special Education students like ALL other students

should placed by their ability not their grade level.

How sad that the all mighty dollar is MORE important

than each individual student (special education or not).

Yes, I do understand that children will be upset if they

aren't with their age level. BUT,we have created this

monster system of education. If it was the "norm" for 

students be placed by their ability and not their age

students would be where they belong. 

JUST saying....and this is my opinion.....I actually DO

NOT CARE if anyone agrees with me or NOT!!
